Located in Blue Bell, PA, Studio U® is a boutique-style gym operated in a clean environment. All of our commercial equipment is designed specifically for women and is calibrated routinely. Safety and privacy are significant priorities.

Private (1:1)

On-Site Only

Private sessions are designed exclusively for you. A minimum of two sessions per week is recommended to achieve substantive results. Together we build a program that makes sense for your current health, fitness level, and lifestyle. Measurable goals are established, and creative plans are made to jump-start your adventure. Once you achieve your initial goals, there are no limits! You may decide to take up a sport you relinquished, sign up for a Boot Camp, or even try something new: perhaps, a Barre Class or Pilates?

Duo (2:1)

On-Site Only

Duo sessions (semi-private) are only offered after each client has been evaluated individually and completed 4 private sessions. The success of a duo comes with the understanding that a robust and independent foundation is vital for successful partner training. This type of workout is appealing because there’s an element of accountability that you don’t experience with a trainer. It’s also more compelling when you have a peer to light a fire under your you- know- what, when your motivation pool needs a refill.

Mini Group (5:1 max)

On-Site & Off-Site

Mini Group sessions are fun! However, the ratio of personal trainer to trainee is less than ideal. Given that safety is of utmost importance along with injury prevention, Studio U® only offers Mini Group sessions on a case-by-case basis and recommends additional trainers where appropriate. Don’t be afraid to inquire about this type of training. You’re in luck! Studio U® can design a creative routine just for your occasion and space. We do insist every participant is evaluated individually in advance to assure safety and results. If you have a vision, Studio U will make it real!

I haven't worked out in years; can I still do this?

YES! Absolutely. Even if you have been exercising on a regular basis, as we age, our bodies are constantly changing, and it’s wise to adjust accordingly. These custom programs are designed to help you maintain muscle, a healthy immune system, and most importantly a healthy mind. Studio U® will help you create your vision of health and wellness specific to your current lifestyle.

What happens during the complimentary consult and tour?

Your complimentary consult and tour at Studio U® is a chance to check out our custom facility and meet your prospective trainer, Nina, in-person to see if there’s a connection. (An in-depth evaluation will take place at your first formal session.) You can expect your consult and tour to include a transparent interactive discussion about supporting you while planning to make meaningful and lasting lifestyle changes. It’s worth the trip and you WILL leave inspired!

WHAT TYPE OF EVALUATION DO YOU CONDUCT FOR A NEW CLIENT?

Every new client is thoroughly evaluated to determine their health and fitness level. Cutting corners is out of the question at Studio U®, assuring safety, prevention of injury, and well-designed protocols that are practical and effective. This process requires completion of a health history form (submitted in advance) and a collection of subjective/objective information at your first session.

    1. Subjective information is gathered from responses provided on your health history form and via personal interview: e.g., work, lifestyle, medical history, likes & dislikes
    2. Objective information is obtained by taking physiologic measurements: e.g., heart rate, BP, height, weight
    1. Fitness level is assessed by administering a series of short standard tests: e.g., balance, cardiorespiratory, movement, posture, strength

All elements of your connection with Studio U® are kept entirely confidential.

Evaluations are 90-minutes and comprehensive. Please come prepared with any questions you may have and with any essential medical documentation you would like to share.

How much does training cost?

Private Sessions (1:1)

$55/hr OR $550 for 12 ($45/hr session)

Duo Sessions (2:1)

$45/hr OR $460 for 12 ($38/hr session per person)

Mini Group Sessions (5:1 max)

Negotiated on a case-by-case basis.

  • Exceptional circumstances considered.

There are no hidden fees at Studio U®.

The more you flourish, the less you pay. Our incentive program is novel and enticing, with options to earn credits to invest right back into your health and wellness journey: for example, classes, subscriptions, field trips, Studio U® merch, or donations to a sponsored non-profit organization.

How long will we work together?

As long as you would like. This is not a set-it-and-forget-it protocol. As you continue reaching goals, we will work together to modify the program for your next milestone.
